Conference Program

This year's Space Access conference will, as always, be about the technology, business, and politics of radically cheaper space transportation. SA2019 will feature the usual single track program throughout, filled with fast-paced presentations with lively Q&A running Thursday AM through Saturday evening, with the traditional Saturday Night Networking Sessions (we're currently negotiating for the return of the Pistonless Margarita Pump) plus a Sunday Morning Continental Breakfast & Schmoozing Session until noon.

Already confirmed for this year: Jim Benford, Breakthrough Starshot, Paul Breed/Unreasonable Rocket, Bill Bruner, Cislunar Space Development Company/Dallas Bienhoff, Mitchell Burnside Clapp, CubeCab, EXOS Aerospace/John Quinn, Firefly Aerospace, Jeff Greason, Masten Space Systems/Dave Masten, Momentus Space, Jim Muncy/Polispace, Larry Niven, Rocket Lab/Amanda Stiles, John Schilling, Rand Simberg, SpaceIL, Henry Spencer, Space Studies Institute, Jess Sponable, Tethers Unlimited, Henry Vanderbilt, plus all-star panels on Space Startup Party Fouls and NewSpace Meets Milspace. Much, much more to come!

(Hotel Note: Our Wednesday-night $130-rate room block is full. The Marriott is quoting rates in the high $300's for Wednesday now. We regret any inconvenience, and look forward to seeing you all at what's shaping up to be a great conference.)

Presenters

Space Access 2019 is looking to hear from SmallSat Launch and Commercial Lunar Payload companies interested in presenting. We're also interested in Student Space Project Presentationswe're reserving a number of short (5-10 minute) timeslots in the main program track for student/amateur presentations on interesting (not necessarily directly access-related) space projects.

Send your topic or panel ideas to: SA2019 program chair

Exhibits

We will have an Exhibitor Room across the hall from the main Presentations. Exhibitor memberships will get you 1 Regular membership, an 8' table in a 10' x 10' area, and two chairs. Your second person can get a regular Regular membership! Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. When space is filled we will create a waitlist.

Live Stream

As with past years, we will be providing a live stream of the video and audio of the Presentations to the Exhibits Room and the ConSuite. We hope to record the presentations for posterity.

Proceedings

Would you like a hard copy of all the Presentations from this conference? We are exploring this possibility and will be working with presenters to see if it's practical and feasible.

Volunteer Help

No conference can run smoothly without the help of lots of dedicated people. If you'd like to help organize and run this conference, we'd like to hear from you!
